It has been 120 days since our paperwork was logged into the Department of Vietnamese Adoptions. We didn't think it would take this long to be matched with a child, but over the last few months, I began to realize that this day would come. With the newest developments in relations between the US and Vietnam, those in the process of adopting are getting nervous. More and more are losing hope. I still believe that we are in a decent position though.
Our agency has continued to get referrals, so I am still hopeful that things will be OK. Not easy and not stress free, but OK. So for anyone that is reading our blog and the newspaper lately, yes, we are being affected, but we should still be OK. Of course, I will not be at complete peace until we get through Immigration in America, with our 3rd child.
