Not a Happy Camper

I called our local post office and our I-171H still isn't back from the Capital. They are thinking that it is lost in the system with the holidays. I am not sure what to think. I asked for delivery confirmation and it doesn't show up in the system. I should have spent the $ and gone FedEx. If I had, the Consulate would have it by now!

I am seriously considering sending it out again on Monday via FedEx. If I do, I should still be able to get it to SF by the end of the week. Not sure if it is worth it. There is also still the chance that it will show up, just late. I knew using the USPS was a gamble, but I was thinking since it was just the Capital and it was a COPY of an important form, that it was worth the chance to save $20. Now it doesn't. For $20, we would be DONE.
