LID ~ Log In Date

Today marks a year since our dossier was logged into Vietnam.

It has been a scary year, half worrying if we would make the deadline and half waiting to file to go get our son! This has been a rocky week in our adoption group from our agency. A few more people filed and were acknowledged FAST and a couple of DNA samples were taken. They are getting so close and we are still STUCK waiting. I am so happy for them, but I will admit that it is hard to see us falling further behind.

Trying to remain positive.
Since the program is closing and these last adoptions are nearing completion, our caseworker will be leaving soon. While we will be placed in more than capable hands, we will miss her A LOT. She was always fast to answer a question and was always willing to talk to you. She kept us up to date with what she knew. I promised to stay in touch, because we WILL file and I want her to see what she has helped to make happen.
Another milestone down.

Tomorrow marks another day for us. It was the beginning of the BIGGEST miracle in our lives. I will share in the future. Almost a year later, I think it is OK. It has been weighing on me a lot lately.
