90 Days and Still Counting

Today marks 90 days since we were logged into the Vietnamese Department of International Adoption. When we signed with our agency last summer, there was a minimal wait (1-2 months) for a baby boy. Of course, by the time we were finally logged in on January 17th, after completing our homestudy and then waiting for preapproval from the US Government, the wait became longer. Since we have been logged in, I believe the longest wait for a boy was about 130 days, the former wait for a girl, so we are looking at another month or so. Of course, SO much has changed with the program since then, so we aren't sure what will happen. Just when things begin to be stagnant, something will happen and the outlook will seem a little brighter. Families from our agency are being granted approvals and are traveling for their children, so we pray that things continue to move along. We have to believe that things are going to work out. I admit that it is getting harder, but in my heart, I have to believe!
